Zippy Vision is launching a new research project aimed at developing innovative wood and surface scanner technologies that provide high precision and efficiency solutions for the wood and furniture manufacturing industries. The project will focus on developing new scanner architectures and optimization algorithms, as well as surface quality and geometry control technologies that meet the current market demands and technological requirements.
Project Objectives:

Develop optimization algorithms for scanners that ensure order fulfillment with minimal material consumption.

Develop visual inspection technologies for surface quality in the furniture and plywood manufacturing industry.

Create an error propagation architecture for scanners that simplifies the identification and resolution of technical issues.
Project Duration: 01.08.2024 - 31.01.2025
Funding: The total project cost is 178,186.50 EUR, including Recovery and Resilience Facility co-financing of 109,215.12 EUR.
